Faustino D. Zaragoza

ELOY - Faustino D. Zaragoza, 60, of Reno, Nev., and formerly of Eloy, died on Nov. 22, 2013, at home after an 11-month courageous battle with lung cancer.

Mr. Zaragoza, also known as Z Blues, was born on Jan. 28, 1953, in Casa Grande to Faustino and Eleanor Lopez Zaragoza. He was a talented harmonica player and a very giving and loving person who never had anything bad to say about anyone.

He would light up a room with his personality and had a passion for music, especially the blues, sharing that passion with everyone he knew. He was well-liked and made friends easily.

Survivors include two daughters, Lanae Bourdon of Fresno, Calif., and Raquel Zaragoza of Reno; two sons, Faustino "Tino" Zaragoza of Fresno and Andrew Zaragoza of Hollywood, Calif.; six sisters; a brother; and nine grandchildren.

An inurnment service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Eloy Memorial Park, with a celebration of life to follow at Toltec Community Center.
