Ethel Lewis

ELOY - Ethel Lewis, 94, of Eloy died on March 1, 2014, at home with her loved ones by her side.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Zion Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 11, with Pastor Charlie Joe Payne officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lewis was born on April 17, 1919, in Wortham, Texas. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where she was a Baptist Training Union teacher, Senior Mission president, Senior Choir member and church secretary-treasurer.

She is survived by her husband, Edell, and was preceded in death by a sister, Earneice Tate.
