Ervin Melvin Wittenburg

ARIZONA CITY - Ervin Melvin Wittenburg, 85, died on May 1, 2019.

Mr. Wittenburg was born to John Wittenburg and Rosetta Sell on Oct. 7, 1933, in Readlyn, Iowa. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a member of Arizona City Moose Lodge, Eloy Lions Club and Central Lutheran Church in Arizona City.

He retired from the Arizona City Fire Department and from selling real estate in Arizona City. He enjoyed fishing, golf and playing cards.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; three adult children, Marva Wolter of Denver, Iowa, Randy Wittenburg of Arizona City and Darren Wittenburg of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; a sister, Marge Degelau of Denver, Iowa; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, at Central Lutheran Church in Arizona City. Funeral at 3.
