Eric Daniel Coops

SANTAN - Eric Daniel Coops, 64, died on May 22, 2020.

Mr. Coops was born on Sept. 12, 1955, in Sacaton. He was a helpful and caring man who was always on the go with his love for trucks. He was a hard worker and dependable friend who at times was quiet.

In his younger years he was a mechanic, and he continued to be the family mechanic. He was a security guard in different departments, mostly with Gila River Health Care.

Survivors include a sister, Caroline Leyva of Santan; a brother, Dale Coops of Salt River; two nieces; four nephews; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Norman, Donald and Lorenzo Coops Jr.; a sister, Barbara Coops; and his parents, Charlotte and Lorenzo Coops Sr.

Graveside service at 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, in Stotonic Cemetery.
