Emery B. Brown

BAPCHULE - Emery B. Brown Sr., 74, of Bapchule died on Dec. 31, 2014, at home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Billy Farris Memorial Hall. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born on May 16, 1940, in Sacaton. He was a farmworker and enjoyed all sports, especially watching the Suns and Diamondbacks. He loved music and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include six daughters, Janet Kyyitan, Glendora Melton, Carolyn, Cornelia, Jacqueline and Annette Brown, all of Bapchule; four sons, Raymond Kyyitan Sr., Harlan Santos, Aaron and Emery Brown Jr., all of Bapchule; a brother and two sisters, Virgil Brown Sr., Patricia Warbus and Elaine Gooseman, all of Bapchule; 57 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
