Elmer Pratt

SANTAN — Elmer Walter Pratt, 62, of Santan died on June 16, 2011, at home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. Wednesday at St. Anne Catholic Mission by the Rev. Gregory Rice. The wake will follow beginning at 6 p.m. Burial will be Thursday in Santan Day School Cemetery.
Mr. Pratt was born on Oct. 18, 1948, in Upper Santan. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a construction worker. He loved hunting, natural things, animals and riding horses. He was involved with homebound ministry and the Cursillo Movement. He enjoyed watching documentaries on geography and the world. He played guitar, loved listening to music and was devoted to his family.
Survivors include his mother, Inez Pratt of Santan; a daughter, Astra Pratt of Sacaton; four sons, Alucard Pratt of Sacaton, David L. Marrietta of Upper Santan, Estevan B. George of Upper Santan and Myron Barley of Somerton; two sisters, Henrietta Lopez and Linda Thomas of Upper Santan; a brother, Michael Pratt of Upper Santan; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Burton Pratt; two brothers, Dean and Aaron Pratt; and two sisters, Shirley Moreno and Lavada Allison.
