SACATON - Ellen Mae Allison, 67, died on Feb. 7, 2020.

Mrs. Allison was born on Nov. 26, 1952, in Sacaton to Allen Smith and Katherine Pablo. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She was a traditional dress maker and a drug and alcohol counselor for the Gila River Indian Community for 19 years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton and active in the District 3 elders programs.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; two sons, Ryan and Steve Allison of Sacaton; four siblings, Mary Narcho of Tucson, Phyllis Thompson and Gail Coochyouma of Sacaton and Betty Whitman; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eula Smith, and a brother, Edwin Smith.

Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, at the District 3 Service Center. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton. Burial in Sacaton East Cemetery.
