Elfida Gomez

COOLIDGE - Elfida Mora-Sanchez Gomez, 76, died on May 5, 2018.

Mrs. Gomez was born on March 8, 1942, to Arcadio C. Sanchez and Ermojenes Mora in Redford, Texas. She enjoyed romance novels, sewing, collecting antique dolls and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Roy; a son, Matt Gomez of Coolidge; four siblings, Nadia Granillo of Las Vegas, Elliott Sanchez of Florence, Jimmy Sanchez of Queen Creek and Miguel Sanchez of Balmorhea, Texas; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Gomez Jr.

Visitation beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, at St. James Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 6. Another visitation at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 18, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. Burial in Heritage Valley Memorial Park.
