Elena Gil

ELOY — Elena Gil, 83, of Tucson died on May 25, 2012.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy, with rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 9 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gil was born on July 22, 1928, in Tucson. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four daughters, Evedia Valdivia of Stanfield, Patricia Millen of Idaho, Catalina Gil of Phoenix and Sylvia Gil of Coolidge; six sons, Ruben, Eliazar, Isidro and Rafael Gil, all of Casa Grande, Conrado Gil of Eloy and Arnold Gil of Tucson; 53 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose; a sister, Carlota Buenamea; and two brothers, Guillermo Madril and Jose Valencia.
