Elaine Russ

Elaine Almira Russ, 83, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 26, 2011, at Lita Caring Home in Casa Grande.
The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mountain View Cemetery, with Pastor Lonnie Gee officiating.
Mrs. Russ was born on July 8, 1927, in Hollidaysburg, Pa., and was a daughter of Clarence W. and Almira V. Reffner. She was a homemaker and loved music and cooking. She was the pillar of the family in her time and loved them very much. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Casa Grande.
Survivors include two sons, Robert D. Russ of Casa Grande and Sankey C. “Tim” Russ of Raymond, Wash.; two brothers, Clarence “Sonny” and Ralph Reffner of Casa Grande; two sisters, Nellie Baker and Ruby Walther of Casa Grande; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard; a sister, Betty Lou Scudder; two brothers, Regis and Elwood L. Reffner; and two grandchildren, Shelly Church and James B. Russ.
