Edwin Reed Hildebrand

Edwin Reed Hildebrand, 67, of Casa Grande died Aug. 16, 2014, at home.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. A celebration of life will begin there at 7 p.m. with Pastor Denny Harkins officiating.

Mr. Hildebrand was born June 3, 1947, in North Carolina to Jane and Cleveland Hildebrand. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a manager of facilities engineering in the newspaper industry. He loved to hunt and fish. He loved his Harley-Davidson, remote control airplanes, dirt bikes and his retirement boat.

He is survived by one son, Steven of Yuma; one daughter, Mindy Harkins of Brentwood, Tennessee; two brothers, Early of Hull, Georgia, and John of Savannah, Georgia; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Finley.
