Edwin J. Roles

Edwin J. Roles, 87, of Casa Grande died on June 9, 2014, at Baxter Elderly Care.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy. The funeral will follow at 10, with the Rev. Ted Hunnington officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Roles was born on May 23, 1927, in Erick, Oklahoma, and was a son of Lewis C. Roles and Verda R. Dowdell. He served in the military and later was a farm mechanic. He enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and spending time in the mountains. He also really enjoyed family gatherings and loved his family.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn and Jackie J. Roles of Casa Grande and Brenda J. Prall of El Paso, Texas; a son, Darrin J. Roles of Casa Grande; a brother, Marion Roles of Illinois; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean, and a sister.
