Edward Dwayne Lawson

CASA GRANDE - Edward Dwayne Lawson, 83, of Casa Grande died on May 10, 2019.

Mr. Lawson was an avid gardener. Most of all he loved and enjoyed being with his family. He served as a volunteer firefighter in Eloy and formerly was a member of the Eloy Jaycees.

He was a heavy equipment operator in Operating Engineers Local 428 and worked at Maricopa Stanfield Irrigation and Drainage District.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Nellie; a son and daughter, Steven W. Lawson and Brenda L. Sanders of Casa Grande; five sisters and brothers, Celissa Smith of Casa Grande, Judy Hill of Phoenix, Anita McEachern of Arizona City, Jack Lawson of Arizona City and Gerry Lawson of Phoenix; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy, with service at 11 and the Rev. Dr. Keith Durham officiating.
