Edith Unger

Edith Hurd Unger, 97, of Casa Grande died on April 16, 2013, at Medisys Assisted Living.
Mrs. Unger was born on Dec. 7, 1915, in Portland, Ore., and was a daughter of Jay and Francis Hurd. She was a school district secretary.
Survivors include a son, Charles Unger of Casa Grande; a daughter, Gayle Richied of Lind, Wash.; a sister, Fran Lynn of Yuma; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A., and a daughter, Julie Unger.
No service is planned immediately.
