Ebbie "Gar" Petty

Ebbie "Gar" Petty, 75, of Watonga, Okla., died on July 26, 2012, in Okeene, Okla.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Mountain View Cemetery, with Pastor Scott Bailey officiating.
Mr. Petty was born on Sept. 1, 1936, in Lockhart, Texas, and went to school in Hart Camp, Texas. He served in the Army and was a farm employee and mechanic for 60 years before retiring from Pat Murphree Farms. He lived in Maricopa for 20 years.
Survivors include four sons, Bill, Steve, Mike and Ricky Petty; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; a sister, Patsy; and two brothers, Leroy and Irvin.
