Dwayne Rodrick Sam

AK-CHIN - Dwayne Rodrick Sam, 49, died on June 16, 2019.

Mr. Sam was born to Frank Sam and Armida Santiago on Aug. 8, 1969, in Phoenix. He was known as an awesome uncle with a great sense of humor.

He loved chicken scratch music and doing crossword puzzles and loved his dog, Spock. He loved his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his mother and two siblings, Franklin Sam and Lola. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Amanda Sam-Peters; and grandparents, Victor and Agnes Santiago.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, at the Mattia residence. Burial in Ak-Chin Cemetery.
