Dorothy Jones

UPPER SANTAN - Dorothy Jones, 59, died March 9, 2009 at RTA Hospice House in Casa Grande.


The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Jones home. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church in Upper Santan. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery.

Ms. Jones was born Dec. 20, 1949 in Sacaton. She attended Stewart Indian School in Carson City, Nev., then Central Arizona College for two years in the culinary arts program. She was a cook for Sacaton Schools for 10 years. She enjoyed being with her family and friends.

Survivors include five daughters, Orlena M. Antone of Sacaton, Matilda Jose of Santan, Becky Jones of Blackwater, Raquel Antone and Antonia Juan of Sacaton; a son, Alroy Jones of Santan; two sisters, Roberta Domingo and Myra Norris of Casa Blanca; a brother, Edward Jones of Sacaton; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
