Dorothy Anthony

FLORENCE - Dorothy Ann Anthony, 87, of Florence died at her home recently.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Sedona Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Anthony was born in Austin, Colo., and was a daughter of Beatty and Fannie Wright. She was a homemaker all of her adult life and was an energetic person, never able to sit still. She enjoyed travel, sewing and reading.

Survivors include a son, Darrel Anthony of Florence; a daughter, Cindy Rees of Austin, Pa.; a brother, Wilbur Wright of Staples, Minn.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jay, in 1994; a daughter, Patricia Lentz; two sisters, Eleanor Patbug and Helen Forrest; and two brothers, John and James Wright.
