Donita Renee Reed

GOODYEAR VILLAGE - Donita Renee Reed, 61, died on July 22, 2020, from complications of COVID-19.

Ms. Reed was born on Oct. 22, 1958, in Hollywood, California, to Frederick B. Reed Sr. of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Elizabeth Allison of the Gila River Indian Community. She was devoted to her family and a friend to many.

She endured many obstacles in her life but was known to be free spirited, happy, loud and always the life of the party. She had an unlimited supply of compassion for others and would always make sure people had a place to stay and food and would give people the shirt off her back and her last dollar. Known for her witty sense of humor and big cheeky smiles, she enjoyed her sassy little pup, Chiquita.

Preceded in death by her father; her stepfather Chauncy Dutton and sister Lisa Martinez, she is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Dutton; a daughter, Amy Reed-Davila; her companion, Jesse Chavez; two brothers, Randy Allison and Frederick Reed Jr.; and a granddaughter.
