Donald Matthew Narcia

AK-CHIN - Donald Matthew Narcia, 67, died on June 20, 2019, in Casa Grande.

Mr. Narcia was born on March 16, 1952, to Francis and Agnes Narcia in Ak-Chin. He enjoyed being around his grandchildren. He was a Dodgers and Steelers fan and loved watching football games every Sunday and playing scratchers.

He studied to be a counselor and loved helping kids in the community and taking them to traditional elder gatherings. He was a hardworking man and devoted to his family.

Survivors include five daughters and a son, Amy Rodriguez, Raymond, Emma, Mary, Ramona and Michelle Narcia; three siblings, Valentina, LeRoy and Reynold Narcia; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Doris Peters and Shelly Antone, and 10 siblings.

Funeral Mass celebrated at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 28, at St. Francis Catholic Mission. Burial at 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, in Ak-Chin Cemetery.
