Dolores Jean Hadley

Dolores Hadley, 92, went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2021 surrounded by love. Our family wants to express our sincerest gratitude to the staff of Copper Sky Assisted Living here in Casa Grande and to Hospice Family Care also of Casa Grande. She was born in Pennsylvania where she met & married the love of her life, Johnny. They cherished 38 years together until his passing at age 61. She later moved to Arizona to be near her daughter and son-in-law.

Dolores will forever be remembered for her love of family, friends, and gifts of musical talents and hospitality. She enjoyed teaching pre-school for many years, singing in church choirs & participating in Bible studies. She also created personalized greeting cards for everyone she knew, and hosted joyful, annual Christmas carol parties. Most of all, she was always ready to help anyone in need.

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband and loving daughter-in-law, Kathy Hadley. She is survived by her beloved children, Bruce Hadley of MD and Jan (Jimmy) Leary of Casa Grande; 3 cherished grandchildren, Erin Hadley (Jonathan Wittenberg) of Pennsylvania, Mike (Brandee) Leary of Winslow, and Megan (Kirk) Scallon of Casa Grande; and 3 adored great-grandchildren, Evan Wittenburg, and Maddox and Madeline Scallon.
