Dolores F. Muniz

Dolores F. Muniz, 77, of Eloy died April 4, 2009 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.


Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. The service followed at 6, with Thomas McGovern officiating.

Mr. Muniz was born Jan. 5, 1932 in Carlsbad, N.M., and was a son of Dolorez and Maria Muniz. He was a concrete finisher.

Survivors include his wife, Magdalena R.; a daughter, Linda Muniz of Mesa; two sons, Michael and Danny Muniz of Gilbert; two stepsons, Ramiro Salinas III of Eloy and Pablo Cisneros Jr. of Casa Grande; three sisters, Dora Muniz, Jimmie Contreras and Monce Palencia, all of Pecos, Texas; five brothers, Jesus Muniz of McAllen, Texas, Salvador, Ray and Israel Muniz, all of Pecos, and Adan Muniz of Odessa, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Candelaria Dominguez, and two brothers, Manuel F. and Manuel H. Muniz.
