Diedrick Black

Diedrick Calvin Black, 69, of Maricopa died March 18, 2023, in Youngtown. He was born August 5, 1953, in Los Angeles, California to Malvina Taylor. Diedrick was a Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. Being a great storyteller, Diedrick often shared stories of his time in the military. He could discuss cars and the military all day with Patrick. He was a huge fan of the Lakers, Dodgers and Raiders. He enjoyed watching the games with Jalen and Cristaan. He loved visiting Hawaii. He enjoyed his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Cherise Black-Davidson and Aaron Black, his siblings, Sandra Wallace, Robert Hoxie, Linda White, Steven Hester, Lillian Caliman, and Kathleen Cohill. He was preceded in death by his mother.
