Destiny Yvette Simpson, 35, of Phoenix died on Nov. 16, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Ms. Simpson was born on Feb. 22, 1974 in Harbor City, Calif. She attended Carson High School and moved to Arizona in 1998. She was a retail sales clerk.
Survivors include two daughters, Saborah and Savanah DeLaCruz of Phoenix; two sons, Louie DeLaCruz and Syrus Simpson of Phoenix; her mother and stepfather, Geneva and Michael DeLaCruz of Phoenix; and three brothers, Robert and Anthony T. Simpson of Phoenix and Michael DeLaCruz Jr. of Bakersfield, Calif. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Simpson, and her grandparents.
