Dennis Lee Joaquin

Dennis Lee Joaquin, 66, of North Komelik, Az passed away on March 9, 2019 at Banner Casa Grande, Medical Center. He was born on March 20, 1952 in Sells, Arizona to Lewis and Lyda (Norris) Joaquin.
Dennis graduated in the Class of 1972 from Ajo High School. He played football, ran track, and participated in the shot put. He then went to CAC and became certified in welding and began his career. Dennis and his wife Theresa celebrated 37 years of marriage. He worked at HECLA mining, TIC, worked on a project for a year in Ridgecrest, CA, came back to Arizona and worked for SARCO mines in Sahuarita for eleven years and retired in 2001. Dennis enjoyed dancing in his younger years, going to Harrah's and spending time with family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his wife Theresa Joaquin and daughters Delilah Joaquin, Natasha Joaquin, Victoria Joaquin, and Diana Marie Joaquin, his sister Arlene Joaquin and brothers Maynard Joaquin, Delbert Joaquin, three grandchildren Rylan, Lewis, and Muneca. He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis P. and Lyda Joaquin.

Funeral Services to be held Saturday, March 16, 2019, 8:00PM MASS at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with all night wake to follow. Burial will be Sunday morning March 17, at 7:00AM at Santa Rosa Cemetery, Santa Rosa Village.
