ELOY - Delores Lopez, 76, of Eloy died on July 1, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mrs. Lopez was born on March 12, 1940, in Arizona and was a daughter of Rita Johnson Valenzuela and George H. Valenzuela Sr. She was a housekeeper and was loving, caring and warm-hearted. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, she enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She relaxed by listening to old-time and waila music and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Valenzuela of Eloy; two brothers, Richard Valenzuela of Pisinemo Village and James Valenzuela of Blackwater; three sisters, Georgina Valenzuela of Eloy, Dena Thomas of Big Field Village and her twin, Matilda Valenzuela of Sells; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Lopez; two sons, Mitchell and Lawrence Valenzuela; a stepson, David Norris Jr.; and two sisters, Mary and Bernice Valenzuela.

The Catholic funeral will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Ambrose Xavier home in Eloy, with a wake following. Burial will be in Blackwater.
