David "Dave" Marcus Landers

CASA GRANDE - David Marcus "Dave" Landers, 65, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 5, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mr. Landers was born on May 13, 1950, in Forest Grove, Oregon. He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and was proud of his service. He worked in a warehouse in shipping and receiving and loved his extended family unconditionally. His advice to everyone was to agree to disagree, and he was honorable, kind, thoughtful and loving. He enjoyed the Arizona countryside for the last four years.

When he was in good health, he enjoyed surfing and riding horses on the beach. He also loved camping, fishing, gardening, watching wrestling and reading.

Survivors include his wife and soulmate, Lois; three daughters, Lexie Sears of Casa Grande, Willow Spencer of Wells, Nevada, and Cindy Mead of Tigard, Oregon; four sons, Asher Spencer of Wells, Frank Spencer of Buhl, Idaho, Kenny Schmidt Jr. of Graham, Washington, and Johnny Diamond of Arkansas; his mother, Barbara Landers of Oregon; a sister, Sharon Perigo of Oregon; four brothers, Dee Landers of Washington, Matthew Landers of California, Andrew Landers of Oregon and Alan Edegett of Idaho; 21 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Landers; a sister, Karen Landers; and a granddaughter, Makayla Spencer.

Private visitation was held.
