Darlene H. Fulwilder

LAVEEN - Darlene Evans Fulwilder, 70, died Jan. 1, 2009 at Banner Estrella Hospital in Phoenix after living at Gila River Care Center.


Ms. Fulwilder was born in Sacaton. She was raised in the Blackwater community and lived for many years in District 6, Gila River Indian Community. She was a homemaker and enjoyed visiting with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Evans, and is survived by a son, Bernal Evans, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the District 6 Service Center from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday. The wake will be from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Blackwater Community Building.
