Crystal Ann Joaquin

PALO VERDE STAND VILLAGE - Crystal Ann Joaquin, 31, of Phoenix died on Aug. 15, 2014, at home.

The wake will begin at 5 p.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Mission. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 p.m. Burial will be early Saturday in San Luis Cemetery.

Ms. Joaquin was born on May 8, 1983, in Phoenix. She kept and loved her first stuffed animal, a lion named Rusty. She also loved cats, and playing with Barbies when she was younger. A homemaker, she was devoted to her family and liked listening to a variety of music. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed doing fun things with her niece and nephews.

Survivors include her companion, Derrick McCallum; two sons, Tynell and Joseph McCallum of Phoenix; her parents, Mary A. Domingo and Adrian M. Joaquin of Phoenix; and a brother, Marvin Domingo of Palo Verde Stand. She was preceded in death by a brother, Brandon Joaquin, and grandparents, Jose C. and Rafaela Domingo and Andrew and Josephine Joaquin.
