Cooper "Red Thunder Boy" Wagner

MARICOPA - Cooper Wayne "Red Thunder Boy" Wagner, 5-month-old son of Michael Wagner of Maricopa and Melissa Meeches of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, died at home on Aug. 29, 2015.

Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Ak-Chin Service Center. The graveside service will follow in Ak-Chin Cemetery.

Cooper was born on March 12, 2015, in Phoenix. He was always smiling, cheerful and loving and loved to watch "Curious George." He made everyone smile.

Other survivors include a sister, Callista Prince of Winnipeg; grandparents, Wendy Wagner of Maricopa, Natalie Meeches of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, and Vernon Meeches of Long Plain Reserve, Canada; and great-grandmother, Myrna Wagner of Maricopa. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Sonny Wagner.
