Clarcie Ann Damron

Clarcie “Ann” Damron, 86 of Casa Grande, Arizona passed away on March 11, 2022 at her home surrounded by family, facilitated by Hospice Family Care. Born April 24, 1935 in Ralston, OK, the daughter of Henry and Palley Huffman. She attended Casa Grande Union High School.

Ann was devoted to her children. While they attended Evergreen Elementary, she put her cooking skills to use in the cafeteria. As they grew, she worked at JC Penney combining her love of people with her passion for clothing. Years later she was able to utilize her cooking skills and her love of the elderly in a senior living facility in Mesa. In retirement she focused on supporting her children & grandchildren in their many activities.

She is survived by her son Nathan Davis (Jan) of Tempe, AZ; daughters Rena’ Thornhill (Jack) of Maricopa, AZ; and Laura Stevens (Jerry) of Bend, OR; 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Hobart Damron and her parents, Henry and Pally Huffman.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26th at Mountain View Cemetery Chapel in Casa Grande. Service to begin at 10:00 AM followed by internment.
