Clancy Rodney Howard

SANTAN - Clancy Rodney Howard, 59, died on June 13, 2019.

Mr. Howard was born on Feb. 9, 1960, in Sacaton to Allen Howard and Esther Chopin. He enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings watching the sunrise and loved his puppy, Suzi, and spending time with her.

He was known as a selfless man, always laughing, smiling and free spirited and enjoyed listening to his music. Everything he did was with all his heart.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Vondell; five adult children, Cassie Knox, Matthew Howard, Alan Knox, Dia and Steven Jackson; a sister, Janet Garcia; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Roderick and Alvin Howard and Edward Miller; and two sisters, Nancy Howard and Justine Miller.

Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 24, at the family home, 1288 N. Ironwood Road in Santan. Funeral at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, at Upper Santan Presbyterian Church. Burial in Upper Santan Cemetery.
