Charlotte Gibson

Charlotte Dale Gibson, 71, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 18, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mountain View Cemetery, with the Rev. Ben Misch officiating.
Mrs. Gibson was born on Nov. 26, 1937 in Lead Mine, W.Va., and was a daughter of Mary and Leo C. Harper. She married Fran W. Gibson Jr. on Oct. 9, 1959 in Terra Alta, W.Va. She graduated from Fairmont State College in West Virginia and taught at elementary schools in Casa Grande and Ohio for 30 years. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She loved and enjoyed her family and also loved her animals, especially her cats.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Katrina White of Wasilla, Alaska, and Raquel Gibson of Casa Grande; two sons, Dudley White of Wasilla and Wayne Gibson of Casa Grande; and a sister, Doris Newdeck of San Diego. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Evans and Twyla Stemple.
