Charles R. Baldridge (79 years of age) of Casa Grande, Arizona (formerly a resident of Findlay, Ohio) passed away Monday the 25th of March. He is survived by his devoted wife of more than 56 years, Doris (Tucker) Baldridge and their three children, Regina Baldridge, Jeff Baldridge and Rhonda (Tim) Wood, as well as 2 grandchildren, Rochelle (Martin) Acosta and Jaime Wood and six great grandchildren, Anthony, Breanna, Carissa, Danelle, Aiden and Scarlett. He was preceded in death by their son, Steve, who passed away in September of 2011.
He was also preceded in death by his parents Fred and Arminta Baldridge, sisters Venus Carmody, Irene Clark, Mary Henry and Susie Baldridge and brothers Curtis, Lloyd and Clarence. He is survived by a sister, Peggy Dible, and a brother, Wayne (Dayleen) Baldridge, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
He was a U.S. Military Veteran serving as a Marine during the Korean War. He retired from Ball Metal in Findlay, Ohio at the age of 58. His favorite pastime was fishing on Lake Erie and watching his beloved Cleveland Browns and Indians. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Upon retirement he and his wife moved to Arizona where three of their children lived. There he enjoyed golfing, fishing and traveling throughout the state of Arizona. His devout Christian faith was, however, one of the most important aspects of his life and helped him greatly during his final battle with cancer. He attended the Oasis Community Church at Mission Royale. Charles will always be remembered for his beautiful singing voice, immaculate attire and that "glint" in his eye. The celebration of life for will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
