Charles A. Worden

July 25, 1933 - February 23, 2008


Charles Worden passed away Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Banner Garden Hospice House. Charles was a school teacher who retired after 28 years teaching 5th grade in the Coolidge School District. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict on the USS Tom Green County #1159. Charles was a member of the American Legion in Coolidge, the Masonic Lodge in Mesquite, TX, the York Right in Chandler and the Shrine in Phoenix.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille Worden of Valley Farms, AZ;
one brother, Oscar Worden; and three nieces, Tracey O'Conner of San Clemente, CA, and Stephanie and Patricia Worden of Coolidge. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Ray Worden.
