Chad Gamez

Chad Ariel Gamez, 24, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 14, 2011, at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Gamez was born on May 5, 1986, in Phoenix. He attended the University of Arizona, was an agricultural sales representative and was good at his job. He was full of life and devoted to his family and many friends.
His hobbies included team roping and 4-H. In his school days he played Little League baseball, soccer and football. He enjoyed going to the ocean and surfing. He loved a variety of music and loved to talk.
Survivors include his mother, Terry Willis of Casa Grande; his father, Carlos Gamez of Casa Grande; two sisters, Shannon Bennett and Jordyn Arena Gamez of Casa Grande; a brother, Tyke Bennett of Casa Grande; and grandparents, Max and Jean Scott of Arizona City and Raul Gamez Sr. of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by a brother, C.J. Gamez, and a grandmother, Alice Beyersdorf.
