Catherine E. Kostenbader

Catherine E. Kostenbader, 88, of Casa Grande died on June 27, 2014, at Family Tree Assisted Living.

The service will be held later in Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Kostenbader was born on May 4, 1926, in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and was a daughter of Roy Bender and Eva Walz. She owned a hair salon. Attending First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande, she was in the women’s Bible study group. She loved baking cookies and pies, but her family was her passion, especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda L. Smolenak of Casa Grande; a son, Chris D. Kostenbader of Casa Grande; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C.; a son, Brent E. Kostenbader; and a daughter, Priscilla E. Rampulla.
