Carole Bailey

MARICOPA — Carole Rae Bailey, 73, of Maricopa died on Jan. 25, 2022.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Sheridan, Wyoming, on Nov. 6, 1948, to Robert Brent and Mary Weber. She worked at Safeway as a bakery manager of many years and as a manager at Stanion Wholesale Electric in Kansas City. Her family always came first, and she was very energetic, happy, always positive about everything and found the good in the worst.

She enjoyed wood crafts, patio pavers, attending craft shows and her three fur babies (dogs), which brought her much joy. She loved cooking for all family occasions and even made up occasions so she could cook and get them together.


Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Sandy; a son and daughter, Jeffrey and Penny Vaughn; a sister, Holly Conary; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Brent.
