Carol Elizabeth Jones

In Loving Memory of Our Dear Beloved Mother, Carol, who has gone to be with The King!  1938-2022

Our dear mother, Carol Elizabeth Jones, sadly passed away on November 28, 2022.  Carol was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 22, 1938, to Ella Stokes and Samuel Brown.  She attended elementary and junior high school as well as Hallahan High School for girls, in Philadelphia, PA.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in education from Cheney teaching college in 1961.  She taught in Indiana and Pennsylvania over the next 40 years, retiring in 2002.  Carol loved music and loved to play the piano and sing.  Carol was a very kind-hearted person and very friendly.  Carol was married to John Henry Jones and has been widowed since 2013.  Carol is survived by two daughters, Linda Mitchell (John) and Sherry Jones.  Four grandchildren; Kimberly, John III, Matthew and Jacquillyn.  Along with four great-grandchildren; Jada, Maya, Jordan and Zayvian.  Please rest in peace dear Mama, you deserve it.  You will be greatly missed until we meet again, The Family!
