Carmelita Banzali

January 10, 1953 — December 21, 2020

Carmelita Galang Banzali, 67, of Casa Grande, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents, Pablo Banzali Sr. and Anita Galang. Carmelita is the beloved wife of Foluso Solaru of Casa Grande, and the devoted mother of Larry Solaru of Casa Grande. Dear sister of Pablo Banzali Jr. of the Philippines. Carmelita was a very caring person who touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all. She was the owner of Lita’s Caring Home in Casa Grande since 2001. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. Carmelita was a tireless worker, who dedicated her time to taking care of her residents, family, and friends. She would make huge meals every holiday and bring gifts every Christmas. Everywhere she went her warm heart brought people together and created life-long friendships. She has friends all over the World, and they loved her very much. She worked at the Family Store as a kid, worked at 3 Embassies as a young woman, and became a Caregiver when she moved to the states. Her and family moved from Athens, Greece to Casa Grande in 1998. She worked at Olas Caring Home and then at Desert Valley. Where she became passionate about opening her own Lita Caring Home in 2001. Carmelita is Child of God, who would always read her bible rather than turn on the TV. She loves to sing, loves to walk her dogs, but always hated driving. Through her tireless work she survived 2 aneurysms, and breast cancer. In the last years of her life she never complained, she laughed often, and she made sure to say, " I love you ". Hopefully thinking about Carmelita can make your heart smile. A service for her will be announced later.
