Carlota C. Romero

ELOY - Carlota C. Romero, 90, of Eloy died Nov. 23, 2008 at RTA Hospice House in Casa Grande.


Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Friday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 8:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Romero was born Nov. 3, 1918 in Tucson and was a daughter of Manuel Gonzales and Marian Cruz. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lou Acuna of Eloy; two sons, Manuel Romero of Eloy and Frank Romero of Casa Grande; two sisters, Ruth Murietta of Casa Grande and Mary Cardona of Coolidge; a brother, Edward Cruz of Sunnyvale, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, and two sons, Arthur and Ralph "Sonny" Romero Jr.
