Carlos M. Rodriguez

COOLIDGE - Carlos Mario Rodriguez, 49, of Coolidge died on Jan. 8, 2015, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Blackwater Multipurpose Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anne Catholic Mission in Upper Santan. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.

Mr. Rodriguez was born on Jan. 4, 1966, in Sacaton. He was self-employed in the floor covering business and a hard worker. He also was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved his family and spending time with them, especially his mother and grandchildren. He also enjoyed listening to music.

Survivors include his wife, Esther; four sons, Carlos M. Rodriguez Jr. and Marcos Bojorquez of Coolidge, Joaquin Rodriguez of Blackwater and Dakota Rodriguez of Kansas; two daughters, Desiree Mitchem and Rhiana Rodriguez of Coolidge; his mother, Connie Antone of Blackwater; three brothers, John Antone of Santan, Samuel Florez of Apache Junction and Jose Rodriguez of Blackwater; four sisters, Carol Tapia and Sandra Florez of Coolidge, Maria Rodriguez of Casa Blanca and Sheila Rodriguez of Santan; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose R. Rodriguez, and his stepfather, Magdaleno "Chico" Valenzulea.
