Burton Wiley Jackson

BLACKWATER - Burton Wiley Jackson, 60, of Blackwater died April 23, 2007 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the family home. The graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in North Blackwater Cemetery, with Pastor Aaron Johns and Gerald Brown officiating.

Mr. Jackson was born Nov. 20, 1946 in Blackwater. He loved horses, cattle and most animals. He loved and was determined in working on the ranch and home and was "Mr. Fix It Man" to his grandchildren and others in the neighborhood.

Survivors include a daughter, Anna Thomas of Blackwater; two sons, Byron and Edwin Jackson of Blackwater; four sisters, Viola Jackson, Suzanne Brown and Verona Garcia, all of Blackwater, and Matilda Johns of Sacaton; a foster brother, Cecil Johnson of New Mexico; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jackson, and four brothers, Delman, Byron, Gordon and Orleto Jackson.
