SACATON - Bonnie Lou Manuel, 65, died on Feb. 4, 2014, at Promise Healthcare in Mesa.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the District 5 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday in Vah-Ki Cemetery, with Pastor David DeFord officiating.

Ms. Manuel was born on Jan. 27, 1949, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Herman Manuel and Ella Smith. She attended Baptist Indian Chapel in Casa Blanca and enjoyed arts and crafts and also sitting outside and listening to music. She loved telling jokes and always had a smile on her face. She also loved watching game shows, orange Crush and Cheetos Puffs.

Survivors include a son, Craig Wolf of Ohio; two sisters, Carolyn LaPointe of South Dakota and Glenda Contreras of California; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Manuel, and three sisters, Lavada Moore, Shirley Moreno and Winiferd French.
