Bonnie Earleen Meiner

ELOY - Bonnie Earleen Meiner, 75, of El Mirage and formerly of Eloy, died Sept. 8, 2007.

The graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Meiner was born Dec. 14, 1931 in Henrietta, Okla., and was one of seven children. Her family moved around and did farm work on cotton, peanuts, apples and other crops from Oklahoma to Washington state. She married Roy H. Meiner in 1949. She lived in Eleven Mile Corner for a while and in New Mexico until 1962. She also lived in Eloy. She was a homemaker and also worked as a cook and motel maid. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharen Smith; two sons, Jeff and Jack Meiner; a sister, Jewell Voss; three brothers, Bill, Jack and J.E. "Buck" McKay; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her husband died in 1993.
