Billy Stallings

CASA GRANDE - Billy Joe Stallings, 84, died on Jan. 26, 2018, at Caliche Senior Living.

Mr. Stallings was born on Feb. 12, 1933, in Durant, Oklahoma. He was quick to bring a smile to all who knew him and known for his unique sense of humor. He loved to play the ponies, watch football and spend time with his loving grandson.

He was a proud veteran of the Korean War, where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal and Korean Occupation Medal. He moved to Arizona in 1992 to be closer to family.

Survivors include a daughter, Rejana McSwain of Casa Grande; a son, Gary Stallings of Lakeside, California; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Bonham, and a son, Wesley Stallings.
