Betty M. Jacobson

ARIZONA CITY - Betty M. Jacobson, 84, of Arizona City died at home on May 2, 2015.

Ms. Jacobson was born on Oct. 31, 1930, in St. Paul, Nebraska, and was a daughter of Edward G. Paulsen and Beatrice Lyndel. She was co-owner and operator of Kearney County News in Nebraska and later sold advertising for Casa Grande Valley Newspapers Inc. She enjoyed yard work and taking trips to casinos.

Survivors include three daughters, Susan Jacobson of Arizona City, Karen Steinhauser and Linda Matthaei of Denver; a son, Russell Jacobson of Kansas; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brady J. Boggs, and a brother.

A private service was held.
