Betty Ann Keeton

Betty Ann Keeton, 58, of Casa Grande died on March 20, 2014, of breast cancer in Las Vegas.

The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, with Pastor Elizabeth Bursey officiating.

Ms. Keeton was born on Oct. 28, 1955, in Casa Grande. She attended East School (now Palo Verde) and graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 1973. She was a member of the Soul Choir there. She attended Central Arizona College and Gila River Career Center to become a certified nursing assistant. She earlier received other certificates in the medical field.

She started working at Hoemako Hospital in 1977 and continued at the new Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, for a total of 36 years. She was a surgery coordinator and operating room scheduler. She received many recognitions during her years at the hospital and attended out-of-state training for a new computer system.

Survivors include four brothers, Allen Batson of Tucson, Nathaniel Keeton Jr., David and Gerald Keeton, all of Casa Grande, and five sisters, Berta M. Young of Sacramento, Calif., Betty Lou, Sandra, Laura J. and Veronica Keeton, all of Casa Grande. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Luberta Tyler Keeton.
