Bertha Lee Thomas

SANTAN — Bertha Lee Thomas, 42, of Phoenix died on June 13, 2010, at home.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Service Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
Ms. Thomas was born on March 14, 1968, in Phoenix. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Urban Indian Association in Phoenix and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen M. Thomas and Priscilla Thomas-Alejandro of Phoenix; her companion, Angela Begay; a sister, Dolores Johnson of Phoenix; and a grandson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen M. Thomas; a brother, Nelson R. Manuel; and a son.
