BLACKWATER - Bernice Myrtle Morales, 72, died at home on July 2, 2016.

Mrs. Morales was born on March 18, 1944, in Blackwater and was a daughter of Richard and Minnie Jackson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to church and reading her Bible. She loved spending time with her family and listening to Mexican music.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Guadalupe; a daughter, Tina Hernandez of Phoenix; two sons, Nicolas Flores Jr. of Blackwater and Tony Flores of Salt River; a sister, Marlene Jackson of Blackwater; two brothers, Freeman Jackson of Sacaton and Rick Jackson of Blackwater; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Quintero, and two brothers, Dallas and Coleman Jackson.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at Indian Assembly of God. The graveside service will be at 6 a.m. Tuesday in Blackwater West Cemetery.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
